What happened?

Navigating away from the home page and returning causes a 1–2 second reload. The lazy route loses its cached state on unmount, forcing a full re-initialisation on each visit.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the board editor and make any change
2. Navigate to another page (e.g. History)
3. Navigate back to the home page

Expected

Board state is preserved and the page appears instantly — no reload delay.

Actual

1–2 second reload on return; state may reset to the default position.

Brave on Android (Samsung S25 Ultra) / Brave on HP ProBook 450 G8.
