I applied kjbee's patch to 0.2.0, and it fixes the problem
for me. I am using nmap version 3.81 on a RH Linux 7.3 system.
If this patch doesn't break the agent's communications with
earlier versions of nmap (3.27 and older(?)), it would seem
to make sense that it be incorporated into the cheops-agent
code.
Any opinions or counter-examples?

I've narrowed it down to between Nmap 3.50 and Nmap 3.55.

To clarify: Cheops-ng works properly with Nmap <= 3.50.
Cheops-ng does not work properly with Nmap >= 3.55.

Test the patch that I submitted. Cheops-ng should work
properly with nmap 3.55 and later with the patch applied.
