#7 Automatic mail doesn't work and blocks everything else

I got this error message:

javax.mail.SendFailedException: Send failed;
nested exception is:
javax.mail.MessagingException: Connection refused: connect;
nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused: connect

I did fill in an email address in the settings and I have and internet connection.
Does anyone know how to solve this?

Hello, I'm sorry to hear checksum checker mail isn't working as expected. I would just like to get a bit more information so I can determine why. What operating system are you using? What email program are you using? Do you send and receive mail from a server that requires authorisation?

I use Windows 7 and Outlook 2010. I don't think my server requires authorisation.

We frequently use Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 as it is part of out standar opperating system corporately. The mail server I use can be copied and pasted from out look by goint into outllook file>account settings>email tab and then double clicking on your email address in the list box. You should then see a form with the title Server:. copy and paste this server name into your checker.properties file as follows: smtp.server=<server name>. The admin.address=<youremail>. If this doesn't work, please let me know.
