    Hi,

I'm not too sure what you mean; what sort of link did you click on?

Clicking on HTTP links should open up the web browser, at least it does for me in the latest version of CheckGmail.

What version are you running, and what was the link in question?

Ok. Since I can't reproduce this behavior on my copy of CheckGmail, can you forward the specific email that is causing the issue?

This happens with any email containing a http link.... perhaps is a bug of repository version of checkgmail, now I try to compile it myself

this happens with svn development version too, i sent me an email containing "http://sourgeforge.net", when i click on the link, checkgmail just open evolution, not firefox....

ok i think I found the bug.
To reproduce it, in settings, precisely in "Command to execute on clicking the tray icon" put "evolution" (my email client) instead of "firefox %u".

    ... that's not a bug, that's the way it's supposed to work.

You're telling it what application to use to handle URLs.

ok... then "Command to execute on clicking the tray icon" is not clear as an option!!
