Archive/Delete/Report Spam/Mark as read don't work anymore
Brought to you by:

I'm using checkgmail 1.12 and I realized that all of a sudden checkgmail is not capable of performing the Mark as read, delete, Report as spam and archive function (in the "drop down menue").
I believe it is not a bug itself in checkgmail, because at the same time, gmail changed its userinterface.
It might be necessary to figure out how the new gmail works.
thanks anyway for your wonderful work. Regards, Sebastian

the open function still works.

Just confirming this bug. It's annoying that Google would change their API and not make it backwards compatible...

By way of confirmation I also have Archive/Delete/Report Spam/Mark not working and the open function is working, it started as soon as I enabled imap support - disabling imap support fixes things but I want imap support so they no worky.

I have been having the same problem too for the past week. It was all working just fine and the aforementioned actions just stopped working.

Here's the error I see when I try to open a message:
*** unhandled exception in callback:
***
*** not well-formed (invalid token) at line 5, column 12, byte 115 at /usr/lib/perl5/XML/Parser.pm line 187
*** ignoring at /usr/bin/checkgmail line 572.
open/archive/mark as read don't work anymore, confirming.
Thanks for your work

I tried the suggested disabling of IMAP and that doesn't solve the problem. I didn't start noticing this bug until Gmail rolled out the new interface changes, so that would be my guess as to what's causing this behavior.

Open still works, nothing else does.
Good luck finding the changes Google made!

I had the same problem as described in this bug, but now everything started working again. Maybe gmail reverted their api.

Would like to clarify my earlier comment. Preview functionality is still not working. But delete, mark as read, archive etc. are working now.

Damn sourceforge.net sometimes doesn't sent me bug reports, and I missed this one.
Anyway - and something which I would request all users do before submitting bugs - please check the latest version in SVN first! This issue was fixed weeks ago ... (an official version will be out soon).
Cheers,
Owen
