just a quick note to say that this is also the case with characters like *!@# and if a label starts with a number. If there's a number somewhere in the middle or end then it's ok :) It's not really a big deal I just added underscores instead of places and the letter A instead of * to keep some of my labels above others. The number thing is a bit odd though :)

Fair enough - I guess I should send the label in URI escape codes. I'll play around with this when I've got a moment (which isn't now!)
