#7 Lost settings & Not switching background

I installed everything, the configuration comes up, I
change all the settings, load a bunch of images &
save the settings as a file called "mypics".

Click the set desktop background via
enlightenment radio button.
Change the interval to 10 seconds.

Click the "Run with actual Settings" button.
Switch to the 'Status' screen.

Notice it's "sleeping", then it changes the file name,
but the image is never loaded. It repeats several
times, looks like it's loading the image file, but it
never changes the desktop background image..

Seems like you are using Enlightenment as a desktop.
I don't kno about that one, but in KDE, you have to tell the
desktop manager to allow other programs to put up images on
the background (= "root" window). In kDE this is done by a
button in the scrensaver config menu.
