Hey guys! I'm Niranjhana, currently working in Intel on an Open Source RTOS, called Zephyr. My colleague and I are really interested to participate in RGSoC this year (as a part-time team - since this was introduced in RGSoC this year). And we're really upbeat about contributing to Chapel, since we have good knowledge in algorithms, and kernel programming. Our code is mainly in C and Python. I'm currently working on making our RTOS POSIX compliant, so have familiarity with pthreads. And my colleague is working on memory programming, writing tests for MMU/MPU, etc. We think we'd be a good fit, however we wanted to know if you are accepting part-time teams (RGSoC has 5 slots for part-time teams, and we do not know which projects are open to this), and if you are, then a brief list of tasks we should do as part of our application process. Could you clarify these two points for us? Thank you in advance! |
