    As you may have seen on the GSoC organizations page[1], Chapel has not been accepted for GSoC 2018. We understand that GSoC often rotates organizations out to make room for new organizations, and we plan to try again
     next year.
    
    
    Even so, we are still interested in expanding our developer community and we still care about the specific projects listed on the Chapel GSoC page[2].
