I'm wondering how to go about using cgru from inside Maya and how to install it overall on a Windows system. From the limited documentation I've found I came up with the following:
I've unpacked the cgru file on C:\Users\x\Documents\cgru-windows
I've copied the \cgru-windows\plugins\maya dir to Documents\maya\2014-x64\scripts
If I load the cgru plugin in Maya I get the following error:
Cannot find file "/cgru.mel" for source statement.
Thanks for any help. Once I get it working I plan on creating a step by step installation document for the community.

There is no "copied the \cgru-windows\plugins\maya dir to Documents\maya\2014-x64\scripts" in documentation.
You should unpack, launch CGRU Keeper and run Maya from keeper. http://cgru.info/installation#archive
Render client can be launched from Keeper too.
Server should be launched manually for MS Windows.
