I've seen recently where the client will say it's 'ready' after playing a game and then never print anything else. I don't know if this was a time out of the connection or a hiccup where the server rebooted itself, but the client was left doing nothing.
TCP timeouts would be solved with the estimated time until next round messages (restoring them while clients are idle would be nice). If the problem is more sinister, I don't know how to solve it :)

This could be an artifact of other bugs. Let's delay this and see what happens when login bug is fixed.
