When I try and copy files larger then 70 meg into the
/crypt/.test directory it fails leaving the cpu still
running at 100%. The cfsd process and the cp process
keep switching between D "uninterruptible sleep" and R
"running" and appears to be staying in the "D" 98+% of
the time. If I try to access the Crypt directory when
this problem happens then the application or eterm I
used is frozen. Files smaller then 65 meg work
everytime "that I have tested", but can make a 80 meg
file fail almost everytime. It appears to fail on the
write as I cd into say /crypt/.test and there issue a
"cp /mnt/hdb1/test.txt ." I have tried using rsync and
KDE's GUI to copy with the same failures. Strace showed
it halted with a write. I have 11 GIG of disk space on
this partition so that should not be an issue. All the
tests above work fine as long as I do not send them
into the crypt directory "same hard disk".
Please let me know what I can do to trouble-shoot this
farther.
CVF version 1.4.1-10
Debian version Unstable "latest as of today"
Kernel version 2.6.0-test11
Swapspace 500 meg
FreeDiskSpace 11 Gig
