Hi, I wouldn't normally spam this mailing list with job opportunity lists but I've got an interesting one. The company I work for, The MathWorks (http://www.mathworks.com) in Natic MA, has a position open with a job description that includes "Hack Emacs", and "can work with that crazy Eric guy." Well, maybe the part about me isn't in the official description, but that's what they're thinking anyway. You won't find it on the official job list yet, so this would be a good time to interview early. The position is in our tools group. An example of a second job opening in the same group is here: http://www.mathworks.com/company/jobs/opportunities/Job3882.html If you append "Emacs coding experience" in there you'd be on target. Anyway, several of the requirements are probably satisfied just by being on this mailing list. The Emacs specific part is to take over maintenance of a big pile of Emacs code I've written and don't have time to maintain because the underlying tools are changing quickly. We also need to port the concepts to other editors like Visual Studio, or JBuilder. There's a lot of other stuff to do to. If you are interested in this as yet unlisted job (or one of the other onces for that matter), send me email and I'll be happy to answer your questions and submit your resume.
