Hello Eric, Yes, this is a linux environment (local and remote). Tramp works perfectly for all my daily tasks (trying cedet is my new project.) I have enabled ede--disable-inode to t but I still have problems. The report emitted by semantic-analyze-debug-assist is interesting in the sense that in 'Include Summary' I can see that a number of header files were parsed, and in the list of missing includes the file that contains the c++ class definition that I'm trying to auto complete is NOT listed but I still get 'Cannot find types'. Is there something else I could debug? Under 'Include Path Summary' I also see that 'Buffer Project' matches the name of the ede project that I defined for the remote file system. So this seems to be okay. A side question, I do not have a real application for EDE in my environment. I set it up like in Alex's page just because it was there. Is there a way to tell semantic where to find my headers without going through EDE? This could eventually facilitate finding the problem. many thanks, Rodrigo |
