Regarding tooltip completions, you should also take a look at company-mode; it's easily installable from GNU ELPA (M-x list-packages if you're using Emacs24-bzr) and supports Semantic out of the box. What always bothered me with the graphical tooltips was that they're just too slow and easily interfere with typing. Company-mode uses text overlays to mimic tooltips, which is much faster. -David |
