[cedet-semantic] Upstream CEDET and Emacs

What are the relations between CEDET trunk and Emacs 24 trunk? Does
Emacs upstream contain an outdated CEDET version? Bzr logs indicate so.

If I install the development CEDET version atop my Emacs 24
installation, shall I expect any conflicts between the two, apart from
different functions for enabling Semantic helpers?

Are there any plans for completely merging CEDET development into Emacs
trunk?
