It would be much appreciated if there were "pull-up" and "pull-down" resistors that one could add to the circuit. "A pull-up resistor is a resistor connected between the signal line and Vcc. If the signal is floating, the resistor will ” pull ” the line to Vcc. This essentially sets a default logic value if no devices are controlling the line. A pull-down resistor is connected between the signal and GND, setting the default value to GND."
