Hi, I tried to burn an audio CD selecting DAO and no pause between track, but when I listen the CD on my stereo there are a 2 seconds pause between each track, why?

Interesting. I have just copied an audio CD by extracting all tracks with cdrtfe's DAE project (info files enabled) and writing the tracks with the audio CD project (DAO, with info files). The resulting CD was correctly recognized by the Windows Media Player.
So, correct copies of audio CDs are possible. I have no idea what went wrong in your case.

If you have used the 'no pause' option and disc at once mode then cdrecord does not add any silence/gap between the tracks. So, if you hear silence when playing the CD, the silence must have been included in the source wave files.

yes, I've read that thread, and I realized that those 2 seconds (with the "-" sign) are the last 2 seconds of each track; but then, when I play this CD in my pc with MediaPlayer, it won't be recognized in the media catalogue (artist, track names etc...), while the same album, created with Nero (and without the -2s) is recognized easily...so I think the 2 CDs are somewhat differents...
