    please a tip..!
When burning a flac + cue sheet in order to create an audio cd, which mode should I select, the DAO or TAO one? Does anything change in the final result?
    Thanks -)

What happens, if you try to write the cue image with cdrecord?

If you really want to use cdrdao, then you have to place the file in the foler
      <cdrtfe program folder>\tools\cdrdao

In addtion, the option 'Write CUE images with cdrdao' has to be enabled (Dialog 'Settings', tab sheet 'cdrdao').

If the error still occurs, then there may be something wrong with the cue file.

When writing cue images (with the CD image project) the writing mode is automatically set to disc at once (DAO), regardless what setting has been chosen before. Writing cue images in track at onece mode is currently not supported with cdrecord.

does the app support CD-Text if using CUESheet + WAV/APE/Flac or what ever?

    • Nobody/Anonymous

Yes, if the cue sheet already contains CD Text information. Currently cdrtfe does not support editing cue sheets or CD Text information from cue sheets. To write a CD with CD Text using cue sheets, you have to enable the option 'Write CD Text' from the Audio CD project (tab 'Audio CD' -> Options).

I'm sorry, I should have mentioned that this function (writing CD Text from cue sheets when the CD Text option from the Audio CD project is enabled) requires cdrtfe version 1.2.7 or newer.

I tried using the option write cue image for a WAV+CUE with the CDRDAO option but the operation was unsuccessful even if I put cdrdao file in program folder. Am I doing something wrong?

      ERROR: /cygdrive/C/Documents and Settings/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.wav.cue:1: Illegal token: R
/cygdrive/C/Documents and Settingsxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.wav.cue:1: syntax error at "EOF" missing TrackDef
