patched cdrtools:
If you have no problems using cdrtfe, then you don't need the patched cdrtools. However, if you are using USB drives (not nescessarily the CD/DVD drive) and cdrtfe has problems recognizing the optical drives, then you can try the patched version of the cdrtools.
modified Mode2CDMaker:
The Mode2CDMaker is used for the XCD project in cdrtfe. But sorry, I really don't remember what the difference between the two versions was. So you probably don't need it. ;-)
