Hi. I just downloaded http://downloads.sourceforge.net/cdrtfe/cdrtfe-1.3.4portable.exe?download 30 minutes ago or so & am experiencing an error when I use "cdrecord -help". I have not tried burning with this build yet because of the error.
The error I get is 3 [sig] cdrecord 2884 open_stackdumpfile: Dumping stack trace to cdrecord.exe.stackdump where the numbers before & after [sig] cdrecord are random however the ones pasted above seem to happen more often.
This did not happen with the previous version of cdrtools I had with cdrtfe which I believe was 2.01.01a38 (might be wrong). I was updating tonight because I have need of the dvd support that the previous version, according to your site, did not support dvd ability. Please advise.
For further info the stackdump contents are (these seem to be constant?):

I've now tried about 4 sets of dlls with no luck solving this problem. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Which OS do you use? Do you have a cygwin environment installed? Or can another cygwin1.dll be accessed via the search path?

Can you start cdrtfe and run a burning simulation?

The cdrecord binaries included in the setup and portable version are self-compiled and until now I haven't experienced any problems. Perhaps, you may want to try other binaries, e.g. from http://www.student.tugraz.at/thomas.plank/

It may be necessary to replace some of the cygwin-DLLs in \tools\cygwin when using these binaries.

Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, I have Cygwin installed not in path & I have the cygwin1.dll in path separate (copied from the Cygwin install which was updated a couple weeks ago). I used the one from the official mirrors because it was newer then the one provided.

cdrtfe does indeed start & a burn simulation log is pasted at the end of the message.

I have tried those & experience similar, in fact the same message but 2x instead of the one time with the one you've provided.

As indicated above I'm using a newer cygwin1.dll then provided however I'm still using the other 2 that came in the archive. I have them in my path not in \tools\cygwin & all the binaries themselves have been moved from tools to the cdrtfe.exe program directory & path set in cdrtfe_tools.ini.

      Follows is burn simulation log:
