This is cdrdao 1.2.1. This release is mostly a bug fix release to address a number of problems with more recent versions of gcc and several bad bugs which triggered early exits when compiled with optimization flags.

We're pleased to announce the release of cdrdao 1.1.9.
This release focuses on bug and compile fixes, upgrade to a newer scsilib library (from cdrtools 2.01a31), as well as some new cdrdao options and features (MMC driver auto-detection, discid command, --full-burn option).
This release of gcdmaster will be the last release based on gtkmm 2.2. Further development will be based on gtkmm 2.4.

Cdrdao is a CD mastering application that utilizes the disk-at-once and
raw writing modes of CD recorders.
This release resolves the recently occurred license problems with
the libedc_ecc source code. The affected code has been rewritten
so that the complete cdrdao package is GPL compliant now.

This is mainly a bug fix release which fixes
serious CD-TEXT writing problems. A couple of
other important bugs have been fixed, too.
The most important new feature should be the
CD-TEXT writing capability of the
'generic-mmc-raw' driver. The recorder must
support a certain writing mode to make use of it.
