[Cdrdao-devel] cdrdao read-cddb -- Is the bin image or wav absolutely necessary?

Hello everyone,

I am storing the cdrdao-generated toc file (cueconvert'd to cue format) 
inside the CUESHEET block of a FLAC image file.

When exporting the cuesheet from the FLAC image file back into a file, 
the cddb information is lost. To regenerate it is really easy: 
cueconvert cuefile to tocfile, then 'cdrdao read-cddb tocfile'. However, 
cdrdao demands that the bin or wav file is present (so to calculate or 
verify something). If the tocfile was originaly generated by cdrdao, 
doesn't it already contain the necessary information to calculate the 
discid, without having to doublecheck with the bin/wav file?

I'm just trying to save the step of decompresing the whole FLAC image 
file into a wav before attemting a cddb query.
