So I have this cd scratched, while trying to rip it, cdrdao gives me a lot of error about L-EC and each error takes a lot of time and there's like 5000 of them ! Now 30 hours to rip a CD is too much.
So, for one bad L-EC error, how much does cdrdao tries to read from that bad sector before it gave up and just go to the next one ?
If the answer is more than one, where can I change that retry count in the code source so that I can compile it for a faster rip ? I heard the default retry count is 5, I've parsed the complete source code of cdrdao without finding anything usefull.
Thanks
