I'm using cdrdao-1.1.7 with a samsung CD-RW drive that I access using the generic-mmc-raw driver. I ran into the following problem with a CD-RW:
First I created a videocd (by burning a cue/bin file). The videocd works fine, so this step apparently succeeded.
Then I call blank. It indicates that it succeeds as well.
I can use cdrecord to put an iso-9660 filesystem onto the CD. I can blank that away too. No problem.
However, after blanking cdrdao indicates that the CD is not empty when I call the info command, and the attempt to write a new cue/bin file fails with an error telling me that there's already something written on the CD.
I'm relatively new to all this, so I hope I'm not making a fool of myself here. What's wrong? What else should I do to put new data onto the CD? Any hints welcome!
Thanks,
-Tobi
