    Hi, I'm using a Slackware distro with Gnome 2 (dropline gnome), I upgraded many libs so my old GCDMaster stopped to function giving me this error:
    "gcdmaster: relocation error: /usr/lib/libgdkmm-1.2.so.1: undefined symbol: _ZTVN10__cxxabiv120__si_class_type_infoE"

    (current version is 1.2.10)

    I found in the cdrdao-devel mailing list the announce of the new porting to GTK2 of GCDMaster, so I grabbed the cvs module using the suggested command line, I compiled it and it starts but I can't add new wave files in the project window (there isn't any "add wave" or "insert wave" menu items or similar)... How can I use it? How can I create a toc using a big wave I want to divide into tracks (like live recordings...)? Thank you in advance.

      Use "Edit->append track"

      Anyway, you should not use the gnome 2 port for every day use. It will crash every 5 minutes or so...

      If you try it, let me know of any problems.

      I haven't that item menu :(
      The only item that appears in my edit menu is "Project info..."

      this is why I posted my help request.... I think many menu items are disabled (I used the older version of GCDMaster and I made several CDs before) but I don't understand how to re-enable them....
      Thanky for your answer :)

      BTW: I have an Italian localization and all the LC_* environment variables are correctly set..... may this info be useful to you?

        You should get the newest CVS.

        Also try "export LANG=C" and then "gcdmaster" to see if there is some problem with locales.

        Thank you for the testing :)

      RIGHT! It's a locale problem..... the Edit menu appeared using LANG=C... anyway I had no time for testing if everything is okay just changing the locale variable, but I'll let you know ASAP.... I like very much GCDMaster so I want to give all my contribs to make it better than other progs :)
      Thank you :)
