Requirements minimum:
486 DX processor, 8MB RAM(requires -ram8mb -nosound parameters),
16MB run well with sound, but to playback demos use -ram8mb, may lock up with nuts, nuts3 wads
24MB to above is minimum ideal to playback demos with sound, but in many time of play may lockup with nuts.wad and nuts3.wad, excess of monsters

Operating systems:
--Windows 7,8,10 64 requires dosbox, run dosbox with at least 24MB of RAM
--Android use dosbox turbo

Recomend to use at least this config in your dosbox-0.74.conf:

memsize=24
[autoexec]
mount c: c:\yourdoom
c:

--Dos real mode, Windows 95, 98 until pentium II will run the sound if have compatible sound blaster card

--Windows XP use vdmsound click run.bat in directory vdmsound will open
command prompt, later type
cdoom -file yourwad -playdemo yourdemo -warp mapnumber
at your choice
