No

When I use cDock in Yosemite to change the dock background to transparent of black (and maybe others), the icons in the Finder sidebar are defective. See my post to the Apple discussions group for full details and screen shot: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6612181 and attached file.

If I reset things to default using cDcok, the Finder sidebar icons revert to their normal (ugly) grey.

I have also found that, independently of cDock, the XtraFinder app has the same effect, when selecting "colorful sidebar icons". See http://www.trankynam.com/xtrafinder/

Uncheck "Colored Finder sidebar". I see you already figured that out on https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6612181 though.
