Well, it is working OK for Bioclipse. There is code that sets up source projects which we put in a git repository... that way, you can clone them, and branch if we need to make patches to get things going (which we try to upload to the CDK project; there is some backlog there)... But if you do not have bug reports, there is nothing really important to be done. The repository actually has a pure cdk branch: https://github.com/bioclipse/org.openscience.cdk/tree/master (which I really must update to 1.3.8 soon) but also a branch which has 1.3.x + the CDK-JChemPaint patch: https://github.com/bioclipse/org.openscience.cdk/tree/cdk-jchempaint The latter can replace CDK 1.0.x with the new renderer / controller code.
