In the Crystal class, we have the following
implementation of add(), which just calls the
super.add(), which is what we should get by simple
inheritance. I added comment to the code.

I don't think there is another way to overwrite JavaDoc. And that's the
reason why this is done in this way. But generally, you are correct.
