Myself and one other CDE enthusiast are currently investigating the possibility of a Debian-based distribution that ships with CDE as the default desktop.
I'd like to target obviously x86 and amd64, as well as sparc, powerpc and alpha to ensure owners of vintage machines have access to up-to-date software without losing CDE.
Please weigh in with any thoughts and concerns, as well as simply to be heard so we can figure out if this is something that would be valuable to people other than ourselves!
Thanks!

Well there's this: https://andarazoroflove.org/code/cdebian/
But that doesn't support anything other than 32 bit x86, so I think you should make a new one. Those other architectures do deserve support.
Hi Jimmy, any status on your project? Shakezula (Adam) had put together CDEbian, although everything seemed to vaporize in '17.
I reserected it from here:

I have built a pair of Debian packages for the Raspberry Pi, one includes the runtime, the second contains a dtlogin.service.
