As I reported, the module loaded, but it still did not solve the problem 
executing it from a user account.

The gcdemu starts but not interface appears. The terminal just remains 
blank with no output.
I really cannot figure out what the problem is.

I also tried to install the debs from
http://www.deb-multimedia.org/dists/testing/main/binary-amd64/package/gcdemu.php
but that is severely broken.
It requires vhba-dkms >=20170610, but if you follow their links to 
install that it throws you rather onto
  vhba-dkms (20161009)

I really need to get this working, but the debs dont work the sources 
dont work. So I am stuck. I tried my best.
