#18 req. double file identification - adding new files to databa

hi there,
getting from time to time new datas from different sources it comes to different ammounts of same files.
i don`t know if someone have the same problem, but i need a tool for controlling new files in reference to the cdcat database.
maybe there is a possibility to compare a given folder or harddisk with the existing database with possibilities to transfer the double files to a new folder or deletion. I think filename in connection with filesize should be enough for the compare.
If someone have an idea, please let me know (dienemesis@gmx.de)

in 1.8 you can search for duplicate files inside catalog, maybe this helps a little bit.

I forget to say, this function is only for a file, you have to select it, and then right click - search for duplicates

thanks so far, that helps a little bit. don't give up - maybe you find a solution to search for duplicates while scanning new data's.
