Hello I am new to Sourceforge. I tried but failed to file a bug with Fedora Bugzilla.
If I encrypt a file with 4294967295 bytes it appears to work for some time but gives a "No such file or directory" error message. The file looks to have been encrypted but the ".cpt" entension isn't added and the access time and size aren't altered.
This occurred with both an NTFS file system and the normal Linux b-tree while I was writing a script intended for a VFAT FS.
This is ccrypt version 1.10
I thought this bug so unlikely that I asked a friend to check it out. He found the bug with 1.11-5 on a Raspberry Pi
Yes, this is a bug, and the attached patch fixes it. I am amazed that this bug has not been found in the last 25 years.
