Hi Achim,
I have just started trying to set up a CCNet server with Subversion. I
already have a working Subversion copy of the source on my build server
(because of the "A Working Copy Must Already Exist" warning in the CCNet
documentation).
But when the CCNet server detects a change has been made, it then calls the
"Export" target in my NAnt script. What this does is an exec call to "svn
export" the source code to a brand new directory. Thus the build server is
always working off source code fresh from Source Control copied to a brand
new directory.
My disclaimer is that is basically as far as I've gotten with the whole
thing. The simple tests that I've run for myself seem to work, but this has
yet to be "deployed" to the rest of the team. So I can't really say that
this works in a practical, day-to-day situation. So I hope if there are any
flaws with this direction, I hope that someone pipes up and lets me know.
Thanks,
Beth

Subject: [Ccnet-user] Fresh subversion checkouts
Hi,
I'm evaluating CCNet and Draco.Net as continuous integration server. At
the moment CCNet looks much more stable to me. But I use subversion and
want checkouts from scratch for each build. Is that possible with CCNet?
The documentation states, that there has to be a checked out version.
Will this change in the near future?
regards,
Achim
