Hi, after asking in comp.emacs they suggested to mail to bug...@gn..., so I'm doing this ;) I used to use (g)vim for some while, but now I'm forced to switch to emacs. There are at least two features in vim I didn't found in Emacs. 1. Comments are font-locked in a way so they are greyed out. If you read over the code the comments are nearly invisible. Now in vim this is done, too. But they go one step further. If you have #if 0 ... #endif it is greyed out, too. would be great if cc-mode could that, too. 2. Whenever I write a multi line comment (in C) and want to end it I could do in vim <Enter></> and vim knows 'End of comment'. In Emacs I have to do <Enter><DEL></> to do the same... Bye...Frank |
