Could you possibly say which language mode (c-mode, pike-mode, ....) you're using, give an example of a function which is being wrongly indented, and supply the diagnostic information you get from C-c C-b (`c-submit-bug-report'). Alternatively, you could try putting point on the offending source line and typing C-c C-o. Follow the prompts and reindent your source. If this works, you could then capture the C-c C-o operation as a lisp form by doing C-x <esc> <esc> immediately afterwards. This will give you something like: (c-set-offset (quote topmost-intro) 0 nil) You could then put this into a mode initialisation hook, as described in the CC Mode info page "Customizing Indentation".
