When I open a file (I have tried both C++ and Java source files) and then create a second frame (C-x 5 2), the syntax colors for that file disappear. It is still visible in the original frame though. If I open new files in that frame, they will also not be colored. Is there a setting that controls this? I had initially experienced this problem with 5.25 (delivered) and tried 5.27 (from sourceforge.net) to see if the problem has been fixed there (still exhibits same behavior). Could you please e-mail me a copy of your responses?
