The new water heating calculation for consumer instantaneous (UEF)-New at least has inputs regarding annual electric and standby electric that may not be easily available. These may need to be defaulted or hidden or have some other change made.
The water heater tank type "Consumer Instantaneous (UEF)-New" shows 3 new inputs highlighted in the image above. Not sure where an energy modeler will easily find that data currently. Suggest we default and hide the inputs, or default and grey them out (if needed for research purposes) so users can’t modify them until the data is readily available.
The water heater tank type "Consumer Instantaneous (UEF)-New" shows an Energy Factor input but should that be changed to Uniform Energy Factor?
There is another water heater tank type called “Consumer Instantaneous (UEF)” (without ‘new’ at the end). Should both of these selections be shown?

Ruleset & executable mods checked into SVN @ r1103 (and also included in 2019.0.9 test installer circulated 3/4/18).
Projects containing old "Consumer Instantaneous (UEF)" selection are now mapped to the '...New' equipment type and the New equip type has been renamed to be the same as the prior selection (w/out the trailing '-New'). Users whose models are updated by the ruleset (during file-open) are informed of this update via a message/dialog box.
Performance inputs highlight above have been hidden from the UI and forced to their default values (unless BypassRuleLimits > 0) and EF label updated to UEF.
