Issue Summary:
I am modeling an indirect evaporative cooling system. I have modeled this in ApacheHVAC in IES and am familiar with the system configuration and anticipated results, but am actually seeing an increase in cooling energy usage when I implement the system in CBECC-Com (from 20.4 to 26.5). I am not altering any other components in the HVAC system when I add the IDEC section. Here are some projects I tested to see if I was modeling the IDEC correctly:
      1. I have looked at the “RetlMed-PVAV-IndirDirEvap.cibd” file in the “other tests” folder. I adjusted the climate zone (3) and removed the Direct Evap cooling section to compare to my project. As anticipated, cooling energy usage decreased.
      2. I also took the  “OffLrg-CECStd.cibd” file and added indirect evap cooling and adjusted the climate zone (3). Also yields anticipated results.

Based on the analysis above, I can’t determine what in my model is causing these results. The cooling energy usage should decrease with the addition of an indirect evaporative cooling section.
