First and foremost: THANK YOU for this useful and very intuitive OCR tool, including the powerful command line features! I included its execution in a VB script and can reliably activate the screen area scraping programmatically.

BUT: for unknown reasons the tool utterly fails to read simple numeric digits correctly and reliably.
Attached is an example of a successful and a failed OCR approach.
The results are shown below the original screens it tried to decipher. It seems to fail on "2" as well as on decimal points. The read errors appear to be random as far as I can tell, sometimes the values are correctly recognized. The shapes of the digits in both examples apparently differ, as does the background color. I do NOT have any options to change fonts nor colors in these screens I am trying to scrape.

As much as I want to use this practical OCR tool for programmatic screen scraping I am stuck at this point,
Am I doing something wrong, what settings may help to read these values correctly?
Will future revision have improved capabilities to read numeric values reliably?

Thanks for any idea how to 'rescue' my current project with your Capture2Text tool!
