#2 Sometimes can't get picture from camera

I use a Canon EOS 350D and use dcam to take pictures
directly to my pc. Sometimes I can't get a picture.

from time to time it just hangs and I get the following
error:

or it just does nothing like this:

The main problem is, that the behaviour is not
predictable, it works from time to time very well.

I have the same problem. canon 350D windows XP. from time to time error occures
