This feature exists in the program. This can be done using "layouts" in the program. you define the layout/text that you would like on the screen, then use keyboard shortcuts to display the text during recording. If you would like to add text to the AVI AFTER it has been recorded, there are other applications available to perform video editing, and this is currently beyond the scope of this project.
