I've created a patch against 0.1.0 which adds an option to the config file for setting the input channel. This should do what you need. See below for url. The patch is also checked into cvs. Please let me know if it works, I only have my own webcam for testing and I don't know much about the requirements of various other hardware, so any help is apperciated.
ok, I dunno if this will fix my problem, but I'll give it a spin later. BTW... A bunch of people have been coding diff webcam-esq v4l programs recently... We've all been hanging out on the IRC server... irc.lilofree.net #LinuxOS ... "biot, solar" are two of the people... Stop on by...

My bttv card has 3 inputs... SVIDEO, Composite and Tuner... I'd like to define the input as S-Video which is channel 2 .... (0 .. 2 )
