I have downloaded the CAM XML validation program, and installed it, apparently successfully, but it won't run. When I try to run it, according to Task Manager it runs very briefly (a fraction of 1 second) and then quits. It leaves no obvious error messages (unless there is a log file somewhere).
I am on Windows 8.1.
How do I get this to run?
Thanks - Rowan

Rowan, with Windows - when you install to the default \Program Files... folder structure then it forces you to set "Run as Administrator" in the properties of the CAMedit shortcut.
To do this - find the shortcut on your desktop or Run menu - and then right mouse click to open the Properties dialog. In the 'Advanced' tab you should find a checkbox - 'Run as Administrator' set and apply that - then it should run.
If you still have an issue after that - reinstall the CAMeditor - and instead of picking the default \ProgramFiles... location - create your own c:\CAM\ folder - and install there.
