Hi, I'm playing around with PerlSaver <http://camelbones.sf.net/snapshots/PerlS= aver.dmg>. The prebuilt PerlSaver.saver from the .dmg works fine, but=20 building it locally with latest CamelBones (1.0.3), XCode=20 (2.4.1), and Mac OS X (10.4.9) produces a non-working PerlSaver.saver. [[[ ScreenSaverModules: can't get principalClass for ~/Library/Screen Savers/PerlSaver.saver *** +[NSPrefPaneBundle bundleAtPathIsNativeForSystem:]: selector not recognized Exception raised during posting of notification. Ignored. exception: *** +[NSPrefPaneBundle bundleAtPathIsNativeForSystem:]: selector not recognized ]]] The Info.plist does contain an entry for NSPrincipalClass=3DPerlSaverView. I notice that PerlSaver has a copyright from 2005. Did something=20 change in CamelBones, or one of the other components here, since then? Suggestions? PS. I'm a pure Perl guy doing most of my programming as CGI-ish=20 scripts on Linux; ObjC, Cocoa, and XCode are complete mysteries=20 to me, so forgive me if I stare blankly while trying to=20 understand your answers. :-) --=20 By definition there is _no_way_ any problem can be my fault. Any problems you think you can find in my code are in your imagination. If=20 you continue with such derranged imaginings then I may be forced to perform corrective brain surgery... with an axe! --=20 Stephen Harris |
