Line-endings shouldn't be an issue, at least I wouldn't expect them to be. ShuX uses web kit for its output, and HTML is supposed to be neutral concerning line endings.

Still, it's a good idea in general to allow defaults to be customized. I can add view options like encoding and line endings, and even make the default part of the docset settings. The idea being that MacRoman would then be the default for the old MacPerl document set, so you wouldn't have to specify it for every document one at a time.

I've a number of other things on my plate right now, but never fear - I'm not ignoring your idea.
