A new version of Calcohol has been released! This is the first 0.4 release, featuring Touch UI support (Nokia 5800, N97 etc.), completely resolution independent GUI, a help system and much more.
This release of calcohol works with PyS60 1.9.5, available from https://garage.maemo.org/frs/?group_id=854&release_id=2673

This is a release candidate so keep in mind that it might not work at all on your phone. This is very possible, and valuable information to me. So please report your experience. At the moment this release has been tested to work on a 6110 Navigator, and a Nokia 5800 emulator. (Meaning that the touch UI has only been tested with a mouse, not with a physical touchscreen, so your touch experience might be horrible. Stylus recommended.)

Calcohol 0.3.4-rc1 is out. This version should work when installed on the phones memory. Changes include:
- Fixed some of the installation process
- Uses PyS60 1.9.* now, adds robustness to the .sis files
- A caffeine simulation model is included
- Many other fixes, see the changelog for a list of major changes

Calcohol - the real time alcohol metabolism simulator/calculator for Series 60 mobile phones has been released to Sourceforge.net. With about two weeks of development behind, it already has many useful features.

With Calcohol you add drinks to the software as you drink them, and Calcohol will calculate how high your blood alcohol content is, how it will develop over time, when you are sober, what your expected symptoms are etc.
Technically Calcohol features XML data files, a smooth sliding GUI, object-oriented design and more. Coded in Python it requires the python for S60 runtime, available here at Sourceforge.net also.... read more
