To tarma05 and everyone else who might suggest such a feature, I've got a few questions on this one. Myself, I actually did create definitions that have friendly matches as part of the game play, but from your feature request here, there are so many variables that I don't know exactly which one you are referring to.

So, with a friendly match, are you:
1) only talking about yourself having a friendly match with a random local or international team?
2) only talking about yourself having a friendly match with a specific local or international team?
3) talking about each team within a certain tier within the country having a friendly match with a local or international team?
4) talking about the local or international team being a specifically ranked and stocked team, with known player names and talent levels?

Though these might seem confusing to you, I'm just asking. For example, you may want to have a friendly match with a high ranking team, like Real Madrid or Barcelona, with their current roster and average talent level that would be fitting for the team of today. Well, that would entail some different encoding within the definition files compared to say just having a random selection of teams with an average talent rating befitting the league's average talent value that the team is coming from.

I'll say that when I think of bygfoot, the game itself is just an engine to run the definitions that we create. The definitions we create for the game will all be different, so if you wanted to add a friendly match or two to the definition you will play, you can easily do that. But it is the engine itself which stays the same. And as most definitions aren't necessarily created with a friendly match in mind, again, it will likely be something you yourself would have to add if you wanted to play it.
