I have two media drives in my computer: A Plextor CD-R PX-W1610A (D:) and a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1502 (F:). The interface for burning only shows the DVD-ROM drive (F:) with no media not my CD-R drive (D:) so I can not burn.
Also the burn speed is listed as 122x.
Thanks, ES.

While program were you using? Was it Bwg.BurnISO or Bwg.CreateDataDisk or Bwg.CreateAudioDisk? In either case, can you do the following:
Start the program that you are running
Set the debug level to level 9
Exit the program
Re-start the program
Copy the contents of the logging window to a file
Post the contents of this file to this site attached to this bug
Thanks

I have updated the drive detection code to be a little more robust, and to print better messages when it fails. Can you try the 0.6.4 version and let me know how it works?

Can you re-try this? Also, can you run the Drive Explorer found under the utilities tab with your plextor drive and tell me what you get back. Finally, are you running any virtual CD/DVD programs?
Thanks

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, but I no longer have access to the computer. When I said mine, I was just trying to simplify my post. It was actually my brother's computer which I no longer had access to after a few days after I posted and who has since replaced it so I can't rerun the test. All the debug stuff I had was in the screen shot originally attached.
Sorry, ES.

That is ok, there are several people having problems with Plextor drives. I have purchased a plextor drive, but cannot reproduce the problem. However, I think I am closing in on it and it may be related to older Plextor drivers. I should know something real soon.
Thanks
